A few years back, a flying bicycle called the "Paravelo" was invented. And it isn't called a flying bicycle for fun. It is a bicycle (with a large parachute on top) that actually flies. It travels around 25 kilometers per hour (15 mph) on land and 40 kilometers per hour (25 mph) in the air. It can also fly up to a height of 1,200 meters (4,000 ft). The best part? You don't need a pilot's license. The Paravelo has been called the world's first flying bicycle, a title we must point out it does not really own.

For the fourth year in a row, the top five places continue to be dominated by the same five intercontinental EMBAs. Tiemba came top this year not by spectacularly outperforming its rivals but thanks to a strong performance across most indicators. In particular, the alumni have the second highest salary on average ($324,000) behind alumni from the Kellogg/HKUST programme ($408,000). Tiemba is also ranked second for career progression and fourth for work experience.

2) Not getting serious about retirement
Please accept my sincere wishes for the New Year. I hope you will continue to enjoy good health.
For starters you have over 25 years left in the workforce, which is more than enough time to make contributions to a pension plan and save for your Golden Years and ensure an enjoyable few years that are free of work.
3) Not adjusting your savings plan
You might think that the €100 you were saving into the Credit Union each month is sufficient - but now that you're in your forties you might have kids and a spouse to look after so your savings needs will have greatly changed.
In early December, authorities announced that market circuit breakers would be introduced become effective from January 1 in an effort to limit the volatility seen during the savage, summer sell-off from June. The circuit breakers would see trading in shares, options and futures halted for 15 minutes if they fell by more than 5 per cent. On their first day of use, that first threshold was breached just after the return from the lunchbreak, prompting a 15-minute halt.

This technology previously existed for arms, but legs are rather more complicated. And since a misread signal can send you jumping off a bridge or in front of a moving car, thought-controlled legs need more stringent programming than equivalent arms. As one of the researchers delicately put it, “If you're using a bionic arm and it misbehaves, the elbow may move slightly. If the prosthetic leg misbehaves . . . that could be quite a safety issue.”

If you have kids who are progressing through secondary school at the moment they are still likely trying to figure out who they are and what they're going to do after school ends. So whether they want to go to college, get a job, or go travelling, it’s important you know where you stand financially, even if they are unsure.

5) Not investing wisely
Major American retailers including Wal-Mart, Target (TGT, Fortune 500), and Kmart all opened their stores on Thanksgiving to get a jump on the holiday gift shopping season. Wal-Mart even went as far as to open its stores two hours earlier this year than it did last. But Costco (COST, Fortune 500) refused to join the trend of "Black Friday creep" and kept its doors shut. Chief executive Craig Jelinek thought giving his workers a day off was more important than increasing his company's bottom line.

7) Not reviewing your life insurance
Further to the above point, this may also be one of those things that you don’t like thinking about. However as you get older your life insurance needs will change so it's important to review your options carefully with a qualified advisor.
Exports had risen in renminbi terms last month as well, up 5.9 per cent. But when valued in dollars they grew only 0.1 per cent year on year to $196.8bn. Still, that was well above expectations of a 5 per cent fall after contraction had softened somewhat in October to 7.3 per cent.
However if your kids are now over 18, you could look at reducing your cover in some cases. And if you are one of those people who don’t yet have life insurance, you should probably think about getting it, as you may one day realise how important it really is.
So whether you're getting insurance for the first time or reviewing your options to get a better deal, this is the decade to take a closer look. And you can check out [t?ek]
